Established in 1887, Kämp is an icon of the Finnish restaurant scene. It’s always been the place to see and be seen. The most famous artists of the Golden Age of Finnish art, such as Sibelius, Gallén-Kallela and Merikanto frequented the restaurant. All of whom are featured in one of Gallén-Kallela’s masterpiece paintings – The Symposion –from 1894. It shows the merry group spending the evening at the Kämp cabinet, enjoying the pleasures of food and drink, while discussing art and society. We truly hope you enjoy your experience!
